Hard luck to the U16 team who lost to Eastern Harps in the final of the B Championship last weekend. The Gaels never got going in this game and a strong second half performance from the Harps saw them go on to win on a score line of 2-16 to 1-9. The team was: Jack Duignan, Patrick Barrett, Andrew Barlow, Conor Sheridan, Andrew McGrievy, Aodhán Eivers, Jason Kilkenny, David Barlow, James Foley (0-2), Conor McMorrow (0-5), Adam Kearns (1-0), Ciaran Kenny, Shane Dwyer. Subs: Jamie Parke for A Eivers, Dylan McKenna for S Dwyer (inj), Jay Rogers for A McGrievy, Charlie Mullen for C McMorrow, Brian Dwyer, Jay Rogers, Troy Gilgarro, Kellan Brehony, Nathan Wimsey. The Senior ladies had a good 2-14 to 0-5 win over Curry in the final league game at the weekend and now play St Michaels in the Shield Final. The team was: Mairead Tuohy, Eillis O'Connor, Aoife Morrisroe (0-1), Naomh Quinn, Aisling Boyd, Amy Healy, Jade Lyons (0-5), Louise Merrick, Rachel Boyd (1-2), Meg Craig, Erin Mullaney, Jane Benson (1-2), Isobel Clark. Subs used: Meabh McDermott, Lisa Conlon, Aine O'Connell (0-3), Roisin Kearns (0-1), Aoife O'Connor.  

Congrats to Tourlestrane on winning the Senior Championship at the weekend and best of luck in the Connacht championship.

There was no winner of the lotto draw last weekend. The numbers drawn were 3, 22, 23 and 25. There was one match 3 winner, Joe Molloy, Castlebaldwin while Martin Cassidy won the house draw. The jackpot now stands at €2,600 with the next draw in Tommy Macs on 2nd November.
