Well done to the Boys Minor team who won the Division 1 League Cup with a 4-14 to 2-8 win over Eastern Harps last Friday. The Gaels gave an impressive performance from start to finish and well done to team management, Glen McDermott, Eugene Carroll and Paul Higgins for their work with the team. The team was: Daniel Lyons, Evan Lyons, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Seamus Hailstones (0-2), Patrick Benson (0-2), Christian Monaghan, Sean Carroll, James Carroll (0-1), Michael Barry, Dylan Willis (1-0), Dillon  McDermott, Shane Deignan (2-4), Lee Deignan (1-5). Subs: Aaron McKenna for S Carroll (BC), Eoin Dwyer for Christan Monaghan, Conor Kearns for L Deignan. Dylan Burke, Ultan McKenna, Brendan Hailstones, Adrian Benson, Shane McCann, Dylan Mullen.

The U16 boys had a convincing 2-17 to 0-7 win over Tubbercurry/Cloonacool last Monday. They now have a break from the league until the end of June.

The U14 girls had a good win over Ballisodare last Tuesday. The team was: Cheyanne Case, Sarah Malone, Cloda Conlon, Aine Cogan, Meabh Callaghan (1-0), Sarah McKeon, Emma Rainey, Ellie McDermott (1-0), Lara Swan (0-3), Nola Eivers (3-1), Nadine Hargadon (3-2), Jade Mc Morrow, Hannah Willis, Emma Crowley (3-1), Chloe Somers Subs: Sarah Carroll (0-1), Clodagh Murrin. They now play Owenmore Gaels on Tuesday at 7 in Riverstown Park.

The U14 boys narrowly lost to Castleconnor with a last minute goal last Thursday on a scoreline of 6-7 to 5-8.The team was: Brian Dwyer, Jack Tuohy, Sam Tuohy, Oisin Conlon, Daniel King, Jamie Parke, Ryan Parke, Conor Sheridan, Jack Duignan, Niall Kenny, Keelan Brehony (1-0), Troy Gilgarro, James Foley (2-4), Conor McMorrow (0-3), Ciaran Kenny (2-1) subs:- Aaron Conlon, Nathan Wimsey.

The U12 boys play Calry in Coola on Tuesday at 7PM.

The U8/10 played Curry last Wednesday in glorious sunshine in Coola – well done to both teams.

Best of luck to Sligo who take on Roscommon next Saturday in the Connacht U20 Championship and especially to Gaels players involved with the panel, Daniel Lyons, Evan Lyons, Karl McKenna, James Carroll, Daire Kearns, Shane Deignan, Andrew Flynn, Darragh Hailstones and Ben Tuohy.

The Annual 7K walk/run takes place on Sunday 24th June at 12PM from Coola. This proves to be a popular event every year with walkers and runners. We look forward to seeing everyone on the day.

There was no winner of the Lotto last weekend with 2 match three winners, Michael Niland and Marie Higgins. The numbers drawn were 10, 19, 27, 29. The jackpot now stands at €3,800 with the next draw on Saturday 2nd June in Des McDonaghs.
