The monthly club meeting will take place this Friday evening at 9.00PM in the clubhouse - all committee members are asked to attend.

The senior team were beaten by Geevagh in round 2 of the league last Sunday. Two first half goals from Geevagh were the platform for their win while the Gaels on the other hand could not convert their many chances into scores. The half time score was 2-2 to 0-4. The game remained scoreless for the first ten minutes of the second half and while the Gaels were the first to register a score it was Geevagh who finished stronger running up six points in the last quarter to leave the Gaels regretting the missed chances. The final score was: 2-8 to 0-5. The team was: Nigel Hargadon, Shane Barry, Niall Henry, Keith McMorrow, Colin Harte, James Lyons, Noel Jinks, Liam O'Connell (0-1), Paul Higgins, Kevin Barry, Mark Tuohy, Derek Davey, David Quinn (0-3), Peter Henry, Paddy O'Grady (0-1), Subs: Keith Candon for Kevin Barry, John Craig for Noel Jinks, Eoin McDermott for Peter Henry.
