20th June 2011 Well done to the U12 Div 2B team and management who won the C Shield last Sunday. They defeated St Farnans 0-8 to 0-6 in the Semi-Final and went on to beat Eastern Harps in the final also by 0-8 to 0-6. The team was: Killian Walsh, Adrian Benson, Paul Costello, Michael Barry, Evan Lyons (capt), Dylan Willis, Bryan Johnston, Dillon McDermott, James Carroll, Daniel Lyons, Brendan Hailstones, Niall McGovern, Shane Deignan, Ryan Fitzpatrick.
The Div 1 team play this Tuesday in the B Shield with a semi-final against Coolaney/Mullinabreena at 6.00PM.
The Senior team secured a vital two points with a 2-11 to 2-6 win over Tourlestrane at home last Sunday. The team was:- Nigel Hargadon, Colin Harte, James Lyons, Shane Barry, Eoin O'Connell, Paul Brennan (0-1), Derrick Davey, Joe Henry, Liam O'Connell (0-1), Mark Tuohy (1-3), Vinnie Boyd (0-3), Keith McMorrow, Johnny Quinn, Paddy O'Grady (0-2), Kevin Barry (1-0). Subs; Ciaran O'Connor (0-1) for J Quinn (inj) and Noel Jinks for E O'Connell. They now take on Tubbercurry in the league next Sunday at home at 2.30PM.

The Girls U12 team lost at home to Curry last Monday. The team was Aoife Morrisroe, Sheona Leyden, Jane Benson, Jade Lyons, Lisa Callaghan, Michala McLoughlin, Rachel Boyd (0-1), Mairead Tuohy (0-1), Roisin Kearns, Lousie Merrick, Sarah Walsh, Maeve McDermott, Aine Brennan, Erin Mullaney, Danielle McGovern, Isobel Clarke, Kate Buckley.
The Boys U14 team are away to St Michaels in the first round of the A Championship this Friday at 7.00PM please come out an support. Well done to Ardkerrin NS, Riverstown and Knockmina on reaching the Cumann Na Mbunscoil finals last Saturday on the day they were out of luck, however it was a great achievement to get to the final.
