The Clubs annual dinner dance takes place next Saturday 19th March in Castledargan - tickets are still available from any club member at €30 - special guest on the night will be Sligo Manager Kevin Walsh. The U20 B Championship medals will be presented as well as the Ladies and Mens player of the year awards.

Well done to Conal McCormack and Sean Nós ar an tSionann on reaching the finals of Irelands Got Talent.

The Gaels Senior team had a comprehensive 2-8 to 0-2 win over Tubbercurry in the last round of the Kiernan Cup last Saturday in Tubbercurry. While there was nothing at stake for both teams it was good to maintain the winning streak. The team was: Nigel Hargadon, Shane Barry, Niall Henry, Keith McMorrow, James Lyons, Conor Mullen, Noel Jinks, Paul Higgins, Liam O'Connell, Kevin Barry (0-1), Mark Tuohy (0-1), Derrick Davey, David Quinn (0-2), Peter Henry (0-1), Paddy O'Grady (2-3). Subs: Eoin O'Connell for N Jinks, Brian McDermott for K Barrry, Keith Candon for D Quinn, John Craig for J Lyons. Well done to Eoin O'Connell who made his senior debut at the weekend. Best of luck to Conor Mullen who heads to the US shortly and we also wish best of luck to Mark Boyd who went to Australia a few weeks back.

The Minor team lost to Tubbercurry away last Sunday morning. The Gaels had the aid of a win in the first half and led by two points at half time - 0-3 to 0-5, however two second half goals secured the win for Tubbercurry on a scoreline of 2-5 to 0-9. The team was Ricky Johnston, Calvin Flynn, Declan Willis, Robbie Johnston, Shane Barry, Eoin O'Connell, Gavin McMorrow (0 -1), Adrian McCann, Paul O'Grady, Kevin Coleman, Brian Boyd ( 0-2 1F), Ciaran O'Connor , Kieran Cawley, David Quinn (0 -2 1F), Keith Candon (0 -3) subs Jonathan Quinn (0-1)for K Cawley.

The winners of the monthly draw were, Michelle Quigley, Finian Carroll and Jimmy Scanlon.
