The Ladies team are orgainising a table quiz in Glen McDermotts next Saturday 9th April at 9.00PM - we would appreciate your support.

Shamrock Gaels and Arrow Harps have launched a Scrap Metal Collection within the local community and invite all to participate and donate any discarded items containing iron, steel, aluminium or copper - donations can be made at a central collection point in Riverstown on Saturday 9 April from 10am - 6pm.

The Senior team lost to Curry last Saturday in round 3 of the League. The damage was done in the first half as the Gaels struggled in all sectors and two goals gave Curry a commanding 2-10 to 0-4 lead at half time. In the second half a much improved Gaels held Curry to three points however they gave themselvesto too much to do and lost on a scoreline of 1-8 to 2-13. The team was: Nigel Hargadon, Colin Harte, Niall Henry, Shane Barry, James Lyons, John Craig, Keith McMorrow, Paul Higgins, Liam O'Connell (0-1), Joe Quinn (0-4), Mark Tuohy (1-1), Derek Davey, David Quinn, Peter Henry, Paddy O'Grady (0-2). Subs: Paul Brennan for J Lyons, Kevin Barry for Joe Quinn. The Seniors do not have any game next week.

The Junior Team have their first game next Saturday 9th - away to Owenmore Gaels at 7.00PM.

The minor team had a good win over Calry last Wednesday in round 2 of the league on a scoreline of 2-12 to 2-10. The team was David Quinn, Conor Merrick, Declan Willis, Calvin Flynn, Shane Barry, Eoin O'Connell, Kevin Coleman, Paul O'Grady (0-1), Adrian McCann, Ciaran O'Connor (0-2), Rickie Johnston, Joe Quinn (1-0), Dylan Edwards (1-2), Brian Boyd (0-6), Kieran Cawley (0-1). Sub: Liam Tuohy for J Quinn.

The minors are away to Eastern Harps this Thursday 7th at 7.00PM.

The U16 team has a good win over Bunninadden in round 1 of the League last Monday. The final score was 6-15 to 1-5. The team was: Conor Carroll, Cathal McDermott, Ryan McKenna, John Og Conlon, Daniel Willis, Liam Tuohy, Eoin Carroll, Michael Kilkenny, Brian Candon, Stephen Scanlon, Adrian Whelan. Subs: Stephen Keegan for C Carroll, Caolan McCann for A Whelan, Conor Carroll for S Scanlon. They are away to Ballymote next Monday 4th at 6.30PM in round 2 while they away to Drumcliffe on Monday 11th at 7.00PM.

The U14 team drew with Curry last Friday in round 2 of the league in a game played in difficult windy conditions. The final score was 0-7 to 1-4. The team was: Stephen Keegan, Daniel Baker, Conor Carroll, Darragh Lyons, Conor McGrievy, Enda O'Connell, Cian McDermott, Caolan McCann, Paul Higgins, Caolan Morrisroe, Ciaran Kilfeather (0-1), Mark Keegan, Mark Kearns (0-3), Mark Walsh, Darragh Hailstones (1-0), Subs: Paul Harrington for D Baker, Andy Flynn for C Morrisroe, Aarron Kelly for C McGrievy, Alan Kelly for C McDerrmott, Luke Flynn for M Kearns.

The U14's are at home to Coolera this Friday 8th at 7.00PM in the 11a side league.

The U12's start their campaign with both teams playing away to St Farnans on Thursday 7th at 7pm.

The winners of the monthly draw were Tony Wazylocha, John Cawley and Shane Quigley.
