The Senior team get the season underway this Saturday with an away game against Tubbercurry in the first round of the Kiernan Cup at 4.00PM. The Gaels won this competition last year - please come out and support the team as they defend their crown.

The draw for the Senior and Junior championship took place last Sunday. The Gaels have been drawn in Group 4 in the Senior Championship with neighbours Geevagh and Ballymote. The first game is against Ballymote on the weekend of 24th/25th July. The Juniors are in Group 1 of the 'A' Championship with Coolera/Strandhill and Tubbercurry with the first game on the weekend of 7th/8th against Coolera/Strandhill.

Bord Ná Nóg will be holding a registration evening for all underage players on Saturday 6th March - registration is €10 per player or €20 per family.

The Club have confirmed the date for the annual Dinner Dance - it will take place in Castledargan on Saturday 20th March - put the date in your diary.

We have also confirmed the Golf Classic for Sunday 6th June (Bank Holiday weekend) - this will also take place in Castledargan.

The next club meeting will be Monday March 1st at 8.00PM.

The club would like to express sympathy with the Flynn family (Sooey) and the Campbell family (Claremorris) on the sad passing of Nicole Campbell last weekend.
